Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Kathmandu - Arrive Kathmandu airport meet and assist by our representative and transfer to your hotel.

Arrive Kathmandu airport meet and assist by our representative and transfer to your hotel. We will spend our day time with relaxation, and in the evening we will attend the Welcome dinner hosted by Nebula Travels. You will be served authentic Nepali Cuisine with a live cultural show. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing and Trek preparation day

Breakfast at hotel and today we will visit the most important shrines of Kathmandu Valley, including cultural and historical sites. The sightseeing places include historical Durbar Square (city of temples), Pashupatinath (The sacred holy temple belongs to Lord Shiva), Swoyambhunath (Known as monkey temple) and Bouddhanath (a Biggest stupa in the world). Late afternoon we will meet our trekking guide, and you will be provided with the opportunity to ask and question your guide for your upcoming journey. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Nepalgunj (45 Minutes Flight)

After our short stay in Kathmandu, we will take a short flight to Nepalgunj for one hour. It is situated at the Nepal – India Border, which is the gateway to the Humla and Simikot. It offers diverse cultures in the Terai region. We can spend our time visiting mini Zoo, Local Village and nearby market. Overnight at the hotel in Nepalgunj.

Day 04: Fly from Nepalgunj to Juphal (Dolpo) and Trek to Dunai (2850M)-45 minutes' flight and 2-3 hours trek

After breakfast transport to the airport and fly to Juphal, and we will meet our trekking crew at the Juphal airport. The trail passes through the terraced field through the Bheri River and to its narrow gorge. We will then reach Dunai which is also the headquarter of Dolpo district. On the northern side, we can see Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif. In the evening we will visit a nearby village where we will set our camp. Overnight in camp.

Day 05: Trek to Chhepka (2087M)

We will gradually move on the trail of after breakfast via. Sulighar. It is quite comfortable to walk with breathtaking scenery. We now cross to Shey Phokshundo lake after some document formalities. We trek through the lush green forest, isolated villages, and suspension bridge where we will interact and learn local culture and traditions of the people who are native to that place. Overnight in camp.

Day 06: Trek to Chunuwar (3110M)

We trek towards the lower Dolpo area from today. We can see the mesmerizing Phokshundo Khola while crossing the suspension bridge. We walk towards Rechi passing through Kharka, further walking on the trail, we arrive at Chunuwar. Overnight in camp.

Day 07: Trek to Phokshundo Lake (3600M)

We continue to follow the Phokshundo Khola while starting early from the camp after breakfast. We can see the mixture of varied landscape. We finally arrive at Phokshundo lake while passing through Mani walls, Lush green vegetation, and Bon Po Culture. After seeing the beautiful lakes, you will overcome all your pain and stress. Overnight in camp.

Day 08: Rest and exploration day at Phokshundo

After breakfast, we will take our time to explore Phokshundo Lake, which is quite fascinating. We will also do surrounding hikes around the lake and visit nearby Ringmo village situated at the top of the ridge above the mesmerizing lake. We will pay a visit to Tshowa (the lake –Shore Bon Monastery). The monastery is about 900 years old, and it has significant religious value among the people in this area. We trek down steep-sided cliffs to the Phokshundo lake. With Spectacular Scenery and the color of the water is what the lake is famous for. We will also explore human settlement, Dolpo Culture, local tradition, and Bon Po Culture. Overnight in camp.

Day 09: Trek to Sallaghari

From Dolpo to Mustang we move from our trek where there are best trekking trails, which trails goes through splendid cliffs, pine forest, landscapes and chit chat with local people which will give additional touch. Overnight in camp at Sallaghari (Beautiful Pine forest).

Day 10: Trek to Nangdala (4717M)

Breakfast at the camp, and we continue walk to Nangdala High Camp 4100 meters. The trail leads to the opposite side of the Tuk Kyaksa River. We will reach Nangdala High camp before crossing the suspension bridge. Overnight in camp.

Day 11: Trek to Shey Gompa (4280M) via Nangdala Pass (5240M)

We will walk towards Dolpo, which is the fascinating part of this trip. We reach on the top of Nangdala pass walking through the mystical land. The view will sure mesmerize you as soon as reaching on the top from where you can see different Chorten peaks like Kang Chhune and Shey Sikkhar and also rich vegetation and landscape. Overnight in camp.

Day 12: Trek to Namgung Gompa via Shey La Pass (5100M)

Breakfast at the camp and we will stroll around Shey Gompa for a while. Beside Sephu Khola, we will follow the trail. Enhancing and on the barren land of Dolpo, you can eye watch nature and culture. Like the movie by Evic Valli “Himalayan Caravan,” Sherri Sumdho Gompa is also known by Thinley’s son’s Gompa. We trek up to Shey la pass and after some exploration where one can see the view of Kangirowa, Mustang and Tibet to the east with crystal mountain. We will reach to Namgung after some walk. Overnight in camp.

Day 13: Trek to Saldang

Breakfast at the camp where we will hike down to Saldang. You will encounter different vegetation and dry land. You can also experience the culture and traditions of local people where you will give an opportunity to talk with them where your guide will act as an interpreter. Overnight in camp.

Day 14: Trek to Yangjer Gompa (4599M)

We continue our way to Yangjer Gompa after breakfast which is quite fascinating. We then move back to Saldang after exploration. Overnight in camp.

Day 15: Trek to Khoma Village

5 to 6 hours walk will lead us to Khoma Village. We will cross the Khom la pass 4500 meters and then headed to Komash village (Varied culture and beautiful). Overnight in camp.

Day 16: Trek to Shimen

We gradually move towards Shimen after breakfast at the camp. On the way you will find different flora and fauna like Blue sheep or if figure crossed Snow Leopard. We will hike towards Shimen while crossing Shimeb-La 4200 meters. Overnight in camp.

Day 17: Trek to Tinje

We proceed towards Tinje ( A beautiful Valley) after breakfast. We will follow the side of Panjang Khola, and we will pass through the amazing villages and monasteries along the way to Tinje. Overnight in camp.

Day 18: Trek to Yak Kharka

This place is also known as the grazing field of yak and Sheep where we will trek for today. Overnight at grassy land in camp.

Day 19: Trek to Chharka via Mola Pass (5030M)

By crossing the Mola Pass, we trek towards Chharka. We have a mixed view of the Bon-Po Monastery and Local Culture in Chharka. Overnight in camp.

Day 20: Trek to Norbulung

We trek upwards to the highland today with a beautiful view of surroundings and crossing the hills; we trek up to Norbulung. Overnight in camp.

Day 21: Trek to Ghalden – Ghuldum (4247M) via Niwala (5120M) and Jungben la pass (5550M)

Ghuldum (4247M) via Niwala (5120M) and Jungben la pass (5550M) - Breakfast at the camp and we will proceed to Ghalden Ghuldum. The trail goes over the Niwa-la Pass and Jungbenla pass. This treks will provide an opportunity to see different flora and fauna. Also, one can encounter with local culture and tradition from very close to livelihood and lifestyle of locals residing over there. Overnight in camp.

Day 22: Trek to Sangata (3777M)

The trail goes up and down until we reach Sangata. As a rain shadow and the isolated village offers mesmerizing views of surroundings and different land escapes. Overnight in camp.

Day 23: Trek to Phalyuk (3175M)

Behind the Sangata we trek to uphill, and after crossing the nine ridges then we walk downhill towards Kaligandagi Valley where we can see high cliffs as well as beautifully varied landscape. Reach to Phalyuk village, which is one of the biggest village in this area we need to walk sometime. Overnight in camp.

Day 24: Trek to Jomsom (2720M)

Breakfast at the camp, and we walk through the loose rocks, and the trail is quite challenging. Finally, we reach Jomsom and enjoy our time over there as such; it is famous among tourists. Overnight in camp.

Day 25: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara to Kathmandu

Today after breakfast we will catch our flight to Pokhara from Jomsom and again take a connecting flight to Kathmandu. Our representative from Nebula Travels will receive you from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest day free for personal activities. Overnight in the hotel at Kathmandu.

Day 26: Final Departure/Tour End

Our representative from Nebula travels will drop you to the airport on time before three hours before your departure to onward destination.
