Honey hunting tour in Nepal (Mid-Western Nepal) is regularly organized by Nebula Travels. This is a very old tradition of local people here and they show their exceptional skills and bravery while honey hunting. Using the bamboo ladder they hang themselves on a more than 300-meter-high cliff. On the steep bee cliff, you can enjoy splendid honey-hunting views. People harvest honey twice a year and the ways and skills of honey hunting are passed through generations from their ancestors.
To reach the honey hunting site we have to trek through breathtaking scenery. We Nebula Travels in partnership with local residents are ready to organize a honey-hunting program for interested tourists in Nepal. This place is equally famous for Homestay with local people, where you can eat with them and participate in their day-to-day activities also you can enjoy the cultural show.

Arrival Kathmandu meets, assist by our representative and transfer to hotel. Take some time free for relaxation and in the evening we have a short briefing program about your upcoming Nepal honey hunting tour. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
We will take a drive to Khudi which is about 6 hrs. drive. You will go across the beautiful countryside along the Prithvi Highway. Where you will meet with local people and view the spectacular landscape and you will go through along the river valley. Overnight at Khudi Bazar.
To reach the honey hunting site you need to trek about 6 to 7 hours. You will get the opportunity to view varied natural scenes on the way. Upon arrival at our destination, you will heartily welcome by this marvelous Gurung village and after dinner, you can enjoy cultural dances of Gurung Community. Overnight stay at Ghan Pokhara in Local Homestay.
This day requires some enjoyable walk to reach the exact honey hunting site. The people pray before starting to hunt. At the cliff, there is a heart thrilling honey hunting program that you can view. We will return to Ghan Pokhara Village after honey hunting. You will enjoy the cultural dances of Mother Union in the evening for a few moments.
Trek to Khudi for about 6 to 7 hours. In the natural swimming pool, you can enjoy swimming. From the bank of Marshyangdi river to Khudi stream where you can enjoy the evening walk.
We will take 6 hours' drive back to Kathmandu from Khudi Bazar, which is a beautiful drive passing through, colorful people, fascinating villages and different landscapes where we drive along the valley.
Free till final departure. Our representative will drop you to the airport before 3 hrs. before your flight back home.
